David Choe Munko NFTs

473

Artist David Choe's figurative childhood character, Munko, is the world’s first procedurally-created NFT video collection. Drawing from a range of Choe's Munko sketches, 10,000 unique Munko variants as videos were created algorithmically. 25 Munkotypes were the basis of creating a distinct collection by mixing various characteristics to create new variations. The 25 Munko NFT types are: Boong, Fyurry, Burnaze, Fyung, Larbie, Bacha, Nocha, Zii, Schmelghetti, Kramen, Schmoogie, Xyndr, Tonki, Sheex, Jonk, Zebrabra, Oxo, and Ximmy. The Munko NFT collection is where art meets technology and community. The distributed, collaborative, experiential work of art also has a community element to the project. After minting the ticket, Token Holders can take the QUESTionnaire to generate their personal Munko. By generating a Munko NFT, the Token Holder, transforms into a Munko, gaining access to Phase VI, an interactive digital community of Munkos.
