The title cards in Netflix's series "Beef" grab attention by merging dynamic typography with the artwork of David Choe, who also plays Cousin Isaac on the show. Designed to disrupt the cold open of each episode, the title treatments overlay paintings that match the episode's mood, reminiscent of 90s album covers and magazine aesthetics. David Choe, the artist behind most of Beef's paintings, had already created these paintings prior to the production. The one exception to Choe’s work was the first title card, featuring a piece by Pieter Aertsen, entitled, “A Meat Stall with the Holy Family Giving Alms.”
