David Choe - Got Your Back

1428

The same subject is explored through two mediums. When the artist David Choe discovered the location of Pablo Escobar’s Medellín vacation home, he memorialized the experience through a series of murals that captured the violent history of the space. The same intensity is captured in a watercolor created around the same time. This untitled work would eventually be used in a title card for the episode "I Am Inhabited By A Cry" in the 2023 Netflix series "Beef."
